Another hot, humid summer is coming to an end — though this year it definitely kept us on our toes with all the rain and typhoons! We hope you managed to stay cool and still enjoy some good summer moments along the way.

We'd love to hear how you spent your summer vacation! Whether you traveled somewhere fun, spent time with family, or just relaxed at home, we can't wait to hear all about it in your lessons.

暑くて湿気の多い夏も、そろそろ終わりに近づいてきましたね。今年の夏は厳しい暑さの日が多かった一方で、雨や台風も多く、天候に振り回されることの多い夏でもありました。皆さん、暑さ対策をしながらも、夏らしい時間を楽しむことができたでしょうか。

生徒の皆さんに、ぜひ夏休みの様子を聞かせていただきたいです！どこかへ旅行に行った方、ご家族と過ごした方、おうちでゆっくり過ごした方――どんな夏休みだったか、レッスンの中でお話を聞けるのを楽しみにしています。

On a more practical note, we'll be handing out progress reports over the next few weeks. It's a great chance to look back on how far you've come and set some new goals together. Please take a look through it once you get yours, and don't hesitate to ask if anything's unclear.

さて、実務的なお知らせになりますが、数週間以内に成績表（プログレスレポート）をお渡しする予定です。これまでの学習の成果を振り返り、今後の目標について一緒に考えるよい機会になればと思います。お渡しした際は、ぜひ内容をご確認いただき、ご質問等ございましたらお気軽にお声がけください。

One more update: HEC now has an official LINE account! If you haven't added it yet, just ask your teacher for the QR code at your next lesson. It's an easy way to reach us about schedule changes, questions, or anything you're unsure about.
