冬の気配を感じる季節になりましたね。

毎日朝晩はぐっと冷え込みますが、そのぶん紅葉の色づきが一段と美しく、街の景色が鮮やかに染まっています。

先月のハロウィンウィークでは、子どもたちがポップアップカードを作り、とても楽しそうに参加してくれました。

それぞれ個性のある素敵な作品が完成し、笑顔がたくさん見られた一週間でした。

そして今年のHECも残りわずか3週間となりました。もうすぐクリスマスシーズンがやってきますね！

今年最後のレッスンに向けて、みんなで楽しい時間を過ごせるのを楽しみにしています。

The days are getting colder and colder, and we can feel winter slowly approaching.

At the same time, the trees around us are covered with beautiful autumn colors—deep reds, bright yellows, and warm oranges—at their very best.

Our Halloween Week has finished, and the children enjoyed it so much! Many students made creative pop-up cards, and we were so happy to see their smiling faces as they proudly showed off their work.

Now, we are moving toward the end of the year, and there are only three more weeks of HEC left in 2025.

Christmas lessons are coming soon, and we are looking forward to more fun activities together as we finish the year warmly and cheerfully.

The season of the red spider lily

The mornings and evenings are finally getting cooler, and we can feel that autumn has arrived.
Along the roads and in the parks, beautiful red spider lilies (higanbana) are in full bloom, reminding us of the change of seasons.

At our school, the children are now receiving their progress reports and looking back on how much they’ve learned.
Everyone is also getting excited for our Halloween lessons at the end of the month.

Let’s have some fun Halloween lessons this year as well! Feel free to come in costume! 🎃

朝晩は少しずつ涼しくなり、秋の気配を感じるようになってきましたね。
通勤途中や公園では、真っ赤な彼岸花が美しく咲き誇り、季節の移り変わりを感じさせてくれます。

スクールではちょうどこの時期、子どもたちがプログレスレポート（レッスンの様子）を受け取り、それぞれの頑張りを振り返っています。
そしてみんなが楽しみにしているハロウィンレッスンも、いよいよ月末に近づいてきました！
今年も皆さんと一緒に、楽しいハロウィンウイークを過ごせるのを楽しみにしています！🎃

七夕の短冊に願いを込めて

朝から太陽が照り付け、日中もどんどん気温が上がり、スクールの小学生の皆さんも汗だくでヘトヘトになりながらレッスンにやってきます。
さて、ハンター英会話では今月初めに Tanabata Week と題して、秘め織姫と彦星のお話を英語で学習しました。
それから、短冊にみんなの願い事を英語で書き、1Fのエントランスに設置した笹に自分たちで下げましたがご覧いただけましたでしょうか。

Tanabata Weekは小学生以下対象のイベントでしたが、皆さんもこれを機になりたい自分、かなえたい夢を見つめながら、英語学習を進めると良いですね。

In the mornings, the sun has been blazing down, and the temperature keeps rising throughout the day. The elementary school students at our school usually arrive for their lessons drenched in sweat and completely exhausted.

At Hunter English School, we kicked off the month with "Tanabata Week," during which we learned the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi in English.

After that, the students wrote their wishes in English on tanzaku (wish strips) and hung them on the bamboo branches set up at the entrance on the first floor.

Although Tanabata Week was an event for elementary school students and younger, we hope that all of you will also take this opportunity to reflect on the person you want to become and the dreams you want to fulfill, and continue your English studies with that in mind.

New routines and unpredictable weather

It's the end of May now, and our students have settled into their routines for the new school year. Did you enjoy your Golden Week?

We're very happy to welcome many new students who have started studying at our school.

As temperatures rise, Japan's infamous humidity has also begun to set in. However, the weather may remain unpredictable for a little while longer, so let's take care of our health and remember to stay hydrated.

5月も終わりに近づき、生徒の皆さんは新学年や新しい学校等の生活リズムに慣れてきた頃ではないでしょうね。ゴールデンウィークは楽しめましたか？

また新学年度に伴い当スクールでも沢山の新しい生徒さんとレッスンができる事を嬉しく思っています。

紫陽花の花が少しずつ咲き始め梅雨が近づいてきた成果このところ急に気温が上がり始め、日本特有の蒸し暑さも感じられるようになってきました。ただ、もうしばらくは天候が不安定な日もありそうですので、体調管理に気をつけて、水分補給をしっかり行いましょう。

　春分の日の数日前には大雪で一面銀世界でしたが、最近は気温が20℃を超える日が続き、ようやく春らしくなってきましたね。三寒四温や花粉の影響を感じる季節ですが、皆さんはいかがお過ごしでしょうか？

　この時期は卒業シーズンでもありますね。今年卒業を迎える生徒の皆さん、おめでとうございます！進級を迎える皆さんも、新年度を機に何か新しいことに挑戦してみるのはいかがでしょう？例えば、寝る前に簡単な英語で日記をつけてみるのも良いですね。小さな積み重ねが、英語力アップにつながりますよ！

　A few days before Shunbun no hi (the Vernal Equinox), heavy snowfall covered everything in white. But now, with temperatures exceeding 20°C, it finally feels like spring. The changing weather and pollen are certainly making their presence felt, but how is everyone doing?

　This season also marks the time for graduation ceremonies. Congratulations to all the students who are graduating this year! As you step into a new chapter, we wish you all the best. For those moving up to the next grade, why not take this opportunity to try something new? For example, keeping a simple diary in English before bed can be a great way to build language skills!

紅葉の季節、と思いきや

近々一段と寒くなりましたが、皆さんはいかがお過ごしでしょうか。高幡不動尊も紅葉がきれいにみられ、美しい赤色の紅葉や黄色の銀杏に囲まれた近藤勇像や五重塔に圧巻です。

「もう秋か」と時間の経過に驚いたのですが、本日出勤すると教室中にクリスマスのデコレーションが！2階の教室も少しリフォームされ雰囲気が変わったなぁと感じます。

皆さまもお体にお気をつけて、素敵なクリスマス、年末年始をお過ごしください。

The season of autumn leaves has arrived, but the air has turned much colder these days. How is everyone doing? At Takahata Fudoson, the beautiful red maples and golden ginkgo trees surround the statue of Isami Kondo and the five-story pagoda, creating an amazing view.

It feels like autumn has just just begun, but time flies—Christmas decorations have already appeared throughout the classrooms! The second-floor classroom has also had a bit of a makeover, giving it a refreshed and cozy atmosphere.

ハロウィンが終わりました。外は暗くなるのが早く夜はとても冷える様になってきましたね。10月末、ハンター英会話の子供達はハロウィンウイークを楽しみました！ゲームやお化けの話の動画を観たり、カカシを作ったりもしました！レッスンの最後には生徒さんたちは「Trick or Treat!」と言いながら集まりいたずらされたくなかったので、みんなにお菓子をあげました！次のイベントはクリスマスウイーク！今からとても楽しみです！

Halloween is behind us, and it has finally cooled down. The last week of October, the younger students of HEC had Halloween Week! We played some games, watched a spooky video and made a scarecrow together. At the end of the lesson, we didn’t want to be tricked so all the kids got a treat!

We’re already looking forward to Christmas week!

Summer in Takahatafudo

The arrival of the rainy season seems delayed this year, but beautiful hydrangeas have started blooming at the Takahatafudo temple! Many people are coming to enjoy the Hydrangea Festival, which runs from June 1st to the end of the month.

This summer is going to be very hot, so let’s be careful and start preparing our bodies for hot weather!

今年は梅雨になるのが遅いですね。でも、高幡不動のアジサイはいつものようにきれいに咲き始めました。皆さん見に行かれましたか？6月1日から30日まであじさいまつりが行われているので、毎日たくさんの人があじさいを楽しみにきています。

今年の夏もとても暑くなりそうですね！皆さん体調に気をつけて今から暑さに体がなれるようにしていきましょう。

The cherry blossoms have finally fallen off. Did you go "flower viewing" (ohanami) this year?

We can now see some beautiful fringed iris at the Takahatafudo temple, as well as fresh green maple leaves.

Why don't you go there for a walk and listen to the Japanese bush warblers singing?

In March, we held a presentation week where the children from the kid’s lessons gave a presentation about their favorite thing.
We heard many interesting presentations about many topics: panda’s, family, trains, games… Some children practiced at home every day!
In autumn, we will do another presentation week. Good job everyone! Let’s do our best to do an even longer presentation in the autumn!

３月、キッズレッスンで発表会を行いました。テーマは自分の好きな物についてです。
パンダ、家族、電車、ゲームなどのいろいろなトピックの発表がありました。
毎日お家で練習した子供たちもたくさんいました。よくできましたね！
次は、秋の予定です。今度はもう少し長い発表ができるように頑張りましょう！

Many students are studying eiken. We teach eiken of all different levels. One of our students recently passed the eiken pre-2 exam.
It’s a very high level so everyone is very proud of him! Good job, Yuuki!

ハンター英会話では英検を勉強している生徒さんが沢山います。先日、小学校４年生で英検準２級に合格しました。
とても難しいレベルなのでスクールの講師全員で本当に喜んでいます。よく頑張りました。おめでとう、ユウキ君！

Summer is finally ending…

For a few months now, the temperature has been really high! We hope you’re all well in these hot times. We can’t wait for the autumn to finally start!
Recently, the sound of cicadas has been replaced by the sound of singing crickets in the evening. Every season in Japan has its charm.
This month, we gave the students of the kids’ lessons their progress report card. We hope everyone was happy with their progress. Let’s continue doing our best studying English!

ここ数ヶ月はとても暑い日毎でまだ、しばらく気温の高い日も続く様ですが皆さん体調はいかがですか？それでも最近では夜になるとセミではなくてコオロギが鳴き始めました。秋が来るのがとても楽しみです。

今月、キッズレッスンの生徒さんたちにプログレスレポートを渡しました。皆さん頑張ってきたのでとても上達できましたね。これからも英語の勉強を頑張りましょう！

The new school year is well underway, and Golden Week is already finished. Did you enjoy Golden Week?

新年度になってからあっという間にゴールデンウイークも過ぎ６月が近づいてきました。皆さん、楽しいゴールデンウィークを過ごされましたでしょうか。

The summer has been coming to an end, and finally the days are getting cooler. This year was especially hot and humid!

He's a bright teacher with great Japanese, so we are happy to have him!

朝夕はだいぶ過ごしやすくなってきて、もうそろそろ夏も終わってしまいますね。今年は本当に蒸し暑かったですね！

As you all know, a few of our teachers will be leaving HEC. Coline and Khai taught their last lesson last week,

and Ellen will go back to her country in May. To thank our teachers for everything, we held a farewell party in their honor

on Saturday, April 9th.

We organized a big party for Christmas with all the kids last year ! We made a huge memory game based on christmas vocabulary the student studied, a Bingo with all the students and at the end, a very good time eating snacks !! Kids were very hqppy to receive present from Santa Claus and we hope this year will be as successful as 2018 !

去年、HECの子ども達のためにクリスマスパーティを行いました！みんなと一緒に大きい神経衰弱とビンゴをしました。その後、サンタクロースはみんなにプレセントを配り、スナックを食べながら素敵時間を過ごしました！今年も子どもと一緒に楽しく頑張りましょう！！

This year Halloween party was a huge success ! We organised a treasure hunting in the school and the students had a lot of fun resolving all the enigma we proposed to find the candy treasure ー！We are already preparing for the christmas event and we hope that it'll be successful too ！

ハロウィーンイベント 2017

10月最終週にキッズ対象にレッスン内でハロウィーンイベントを行いました。

通常レッスンとは少し内容を変え、英語で道具の確認をしたり、工程を説明したりしながらイベント工作を楽しむことが出来ました。

今後も通常レッスンに加え、楽しみながらレッスンが取り組めるように企画致しますので、お楽しみに！

壁紙を張り始め、教室の雰囲気がやっと見えてきました。
何より、お気に入りの扉がついて感動しています！！

工事も終盤ですので、日々変化していく２階を見るのが楽しみです。

次回は時間を気にして撮ろうと思います！
